Our jasmine teas originate from Fuzhou, the birthplace of jasmine tea. The traditional production method of Fuzhou jasmine tea has been inscribed on China's National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Authentic Fuzhou jasmine tea requires premium ingredients and meticulous processing—only then can tea and jasmine fragrance achieve such perfect harmony.

As the base tea, roasted green tea from the mountains of Fujian is often used, prized for its exceptional aroma-absorbing qualities. The exclusively employed local single-petal jasmine blossoms are picked at night during summer to protect the delicate flowers. Since the tea leaves are harvested in spring, they must wait patiently for their floral bride. Tea and fresh blossoms undergo four to nine rounds of layered scenting, with each cycle lasting over twelve hours as the tea absorbs the jasmine fragrance. At night, the tea is turned to prevent overheating. After each round, the withered flowers are removed. Through this oxidative processing, the tea develops fine white or yellowish down.

Our jasmine teas are sourced from a fourth-generation family business renowned for its unique "fusion of tea and jasmine soul." Before exploring this philosophy, let’s note the brewing method for Fuzhou jasmine tea: We use 2.2g of tea in a 110ml Gaiwan. For the first infusion, we use 85°C water with a 5-second steep, filling the Gaiwan only 70%. This initial brew serves more as a tea awakening—yet is too precious to discard. The second infusion steeps for 15 seconds at 85°C with a full pour. From the third infusion onward, we generally use 90°C water, maintaining a 15-second steep for the third round, then increasing steeping time by 5 seconds for each subsequent infusion. After pouring, we wait about 3 minutes for the tea to cool to approximately 60°C before enjoying.
